Prepare a PowerPoint presentation describing the federal court system. You will explore federal jurisdiction, explaining when a case can be filed in federal courts. You will also compare the Federal Courts with your own state court systems. PowerPoint is used across all professions as an aid in presentations. Attorneys create PowerPoints to showcase evidence and make points in court arguments, as well as for informational dissemination at meetings. Basic skills in PowerPoint are a great asset. Please cover the following key points in your PowerPoint presentation: The Federal Courts: Please explain the three tiers of the Federal Court system. For each tier, please include at least 5 points about the court and its role in the federal court system. Jurisdiction: Please include at least one slide describing federal jurisdiction. State Comparison: Please include at least one slide showcasing the distinctions or similarities between your home state court system and the federal court system. You MUST have a reference list as your final slide. Citations are extremely important in the professional world and even more so in the legal field. Please include a title slide with YOUR NAME and the title of your presentation. In addition to fulfilling the specifics of the assignment, your PowerPoint must also meet the following criteria: Length should be 10 -15 slides in length, including a title and reference slide. Viewpoint and purpose should be clearly established and sustained in each slide Assignment should follow the conventions of Standard American English (correct grammar, punctuation, etc.). Writing should be well ordered, logical, and unified, as well as original and insightful. Your work should display superior content, organization, style, and mechanics. Appropriate citation style should be followed.
