I work on a Network Video Surveillance Textbook now. The textbook is written in “for Dummies” style, but has many special tech terms used in video surveillance and networking fields.
I need a native English speaking editor, who has experience in book editing and familiar with video and networking equipment.
The editor’s responsibilities are:
- Reviewing the text sentence-by-sentence
- Fixing the common spelling, punctuation, and grammatical mistakes
- Checking usage of video surveillance and networking tech terms, used in this book
- Making sure that the text is easy to understand and that the writing style is straightforward
Here’re two short text samples:

! Please send mistakes that you found in these samples with your bid.
The book has about 25000 words.
Please send your rates ($ per 1000 words) in comments.
Thank you in advance!
