Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced editor to potentially work with long term. We have the first draft of a 25,000 word eBook (in MS Word) on a health topic, which requires significant editing.
The following tasks will be required:
- Proof reading
- Adding diagrams and pictures where appropriate
- Giving the book a conversational and motivational tone throughout
- Simplifying any over-technical parts
- Adding links to our website where appropriate
- Formatting
We would then want you to write an introduction based on notes that we would provide.
The book is on a specific health topic, written for suffers of this illness, and concentrates on ways of overcoming symptoms. This is the first in a series of books, and so we are seeking someone to work with long term. Experience in editing health related topics is essential. Please include a resume and samples of work you have edited.
