I am German and looking for a native English speaker for proofreading my PhD thesis. The thesis includes in total 260 pages of which roughly 230 need to be checked. Find attached some example pages of the thesis to get a feeling how much work it is for you.
The task focuses on spelling / grammar mistakes and odd / incomprehensible sentences. According to my supervisor most of the parts are already quite good. It is not possible to change the structure or content of the thesis, so your task really focuses on the language.
Looking forward to receive your quotations.

To get an idea about the way you work and how your corrections / feedback looks like I propose you send me a small example of the original text I have provided in the project description (the PDF file). My budget is between 250 and 500 EUR and I am absolutely willing to spend this amount in case the work is high professional.

There seems to be a problem with the original PDF that I have provided. Therefore, I have just uploaded a fixed version of the document. Note: I cannot provide any Word documents and would prefer to receive the corrections inside the PDF. Sorry about that.
