Small project requiring a mock up of a magnetic motor concept.
animation would be nice but not required. Perhaps just a single rotation to provide understanding of mechanics involved. Project is a 3D rendering w/ short animation to show how it works. Single 3/8" shaft with a 6" wheel containing a number of high strength .5" x .5" x .25" magnets rotating with a static clear outer cylinder 8" inner diameter that also has high strength magnets of the same size as inner wheel. There will be a solonoid and a reed/magnetic switch that is used to lower/raise a soft iron wedge between each of the magnets as they pass one another. I need this mechanical shield created (use your imagination) Mock up can be either 6, 8 or 12 magnets on the sheel/rotor and outer cylinder, whichever is easier allowing good visibility. This project is just to provide a pretty mock up of how the device works. Sizing/dimensions do not need to be specific. Non-professional drawing and 2D renderings are available to give general description of what 3D rendering/animation should look like. More of a concept demonstration of a magnetic motor w./ housing and solenoid actuated magnet shielding apparatus that comes down into the magnet field as the magnets rush by one another. Shield then moves out of the way to allow the push/pull of the magnets.

Between the magnets on the inner wheel and outer cylinder there will be a sloping iron/metal ramp that gets closer to the incoming magnet as it approaches and goes by allowing for a magnetic pull to help propel the inner rotor/wheel. This ramp or slope can not come into contact with the magnet as it's passing by but instead is static. The combination of this slope and a passing magnet will create a pull effect keeping the magnets and inner rotor/wheel in motion. As the magnet passes the outer magnet, the magnetic Norths of both magnets will repel each other keeping the rotation of the inner wheel moving along. Look at attached 2D mock up for more info.. I'd like this project to be done in AutoCad (10/12) so that I may edit it afterwords. I would need the source. This may lead to larger projects down the road. I simply do not have 3D rendering skills so I need a good start on this. I'll be able to edit it to my liking once I have something started for me.

I'd like the rendering (or animation) to look something like this.
