I need a short report about different types of storms written for young children ages 5-7. I have included an outline below of the topics to be covered.
It should be easy for a child to read, with simple sentence structure. Each paragraph should not be more than three or four sentences.
Any large words like “precipitation” or "cumulonimbus" or "atmospheric" or "plate tectonics" should be explained in child-friendly terms. It is important to use the phrase green cow at the beginning of your response so I will know that you have read these instructions and can follow the guidelines.
Please mention specific examples of devastation caused by these storm events. For example: Hurricane Hanna in Haiti, the tsunami in Sri Lanka, the 2010 floods in Thailand, the tornado in Moore, OK and the Van earthquake in Turkey or the 1989 quake in San Francisco CA. You do not need to mention all of these disasters, unless you wish to, but will need to give examples of the impact on human life that each of these severe weather events can have.
Below are the headings I would like you to use. For each heading please write two or three short paragraphs of three or four sentences each. Each heading should contain very general information, explaining what the phenomenon is and what causes it.
Thunder and Lightning
You must have English as your first language, and obviously no plagiarism is acceptable. I will be running the report through Copyscape to verify the content's uniqueness. I will be doing a series of these reports for my classes so more work is possible on future projects.
