Love Machine doesn't have anything on me :)
This sounds like a really interesting project. I really do like F&SF, and I can build in some elements of romance and the supernatural (which is kind of a must in the fantasy genre). I have written several stories in my spare time, both as fan-fiction as well as building my own universes, and to get them monetised sounds downright awesome.
I would like to bid for this project, but with the following understanding:
1. I am fine with not receiving any credit; this is a strictly work-for-hire situation. But I will have to bid up my price in order to compensate for this.
2. I need to understand what you mean by 25 pages. Is that 25 Kindle pages or 25 A4 (~US Letter) pages? Because using Times New Roman 10pt with 1" margins, 1 A4 page is roughly equivalent to 2 paperback pages and approx 800-1000 words.
3. Depending on your definition, I can churn out anywhere between 2-4 'books' per month. I will be available all year round for this project, but will notify you ahead of time if anything more urgent crops up.
4. I normally write using UK English (certain spelling variations, slang terms); if you want to keep it as Americanised as possible, I need to know upfront.
5. My series will generally not be 'urban fantasy' (e.g. Harry Dresden, SERRAted Edge etc), although I can write such. If I write in an SF setting, my default will usually be a single-species civilisation; if religion is touched on, predominantly Christian; if measurements are used, metric. This is just a matter of extrapolation; these and other specific issues can be settled during the contract phase.
The reason I am saying all of this is to assure you that I, too, am serious about this project, and not just bidding blindly, as you put it.
Looking forwards to hearing back from you, and wishing you a Happy New Year.
