Project Description:
URGENT - 2000 word article which reviews an HR Executive Breakfast Briefing in Melbourne CBD on Wed 28 March 2012 at 7.15am.
We are looking for freelance journalist/ writer with an understanding of the corporate business world (and HR if possible) to prepare a 2000 word summary of a panel presentation/discussion that will take place over a 1.5 hour breakfast.
In the audience will be senior HR executives and the article will be used by the Breakfast sponsors and hosts, The Next Step in post event publicity and information sharing.
Our panellists will be three senior HR professionals discussing the challenges their organisations are currently facing as they move through significant change. They will also discuss the role HR is playing to assist each organisation to navigate through change as well as their personal views on how HR can add value and remain relevant to the business through periods of transformation.
The morning will be facilitated by The Next Step's Managing Director, Craig Mason who will also reference the key findings of the Global HR Viewpoint Survey with the panel. The findings of the HR Viewpoint Survey are based on the feedback from 3,000 HR respondents across Australia/New Zealand, Asia and the UK/Europe and provide significant insights into the makeup of the HR profession globally.
The aim of the morning and therefore the article will be to provide our guests with:
• An understanding of some of the challenges faced by three leading organisations
• An understanding of how HR is positioning itself to support these businesses in FY12/13
• Gain insights from leading HR practitioners on the profession and staying relevant in period of substantial change
