Project Description:
I am requesting 10 total product description/review articles written concerning the topics of Women's Makeup and Jeans (5 articles for each niche).

Though the Freelancer 'Simple Project' has a bid range of $30-250, I will give more consideration to bids on this project of $60 or less. A bid of over $60 should come coupled with COMPELLING samples of your previous work.

I will provide you one product keyword for each article. The writing need is to 'flesh out' the keyword with an article describing or reviewing specific details about the product using available online material (rewritten in your own words) or even from your experience with the product. This is not a product sales pitch, but rather an honest review describing features as well as its pros & cons.

The keywords will typically be types or categories of a product, such as 'Bluetooth Stereo Headsets' or 'Charcoal Barbecue Grills.'

From there, you will have some latitude in either writing specific details about the product or instead selecting a specific product within that category and writing about it. For example, if the keyword is 'Charcoal Barbecue Grills,' you could either review details about that general type of barbecue grill or instead you could select one or even two popular barbecue grills - such as the 'Weber 22.5-inch One-Touch Silver 741001 Grill' - and write about it.

The early portion of each article you write should first provide an overview of the product (such as its benefits or how to use it), and then more specific product details from that point forward.

To bid on this project, you need to have a minimum of 5 Freelancer reviews related to writing, editing, or proofreading content with a minimum Freelancer rating of 9.5.

QUALITY CONTENT, RELIABILITY ON DELIVERY, and a COMPETITIVE BID PRICE are very high priorities to me.

If you plan to outsource this project to someone else, I want to be made aware of that as part of your bid.

GENERAL ARTICLE STRUCTURE REQUIREMENTS
------------------------------------------------------------------------

___ Article Length: 500-600 words each. Please, no filler or meaningless words, phrases, or sentences that don't add any value for the article's reader.

___ These articles are product descriptions/reviews, NOT sales pitches with any call to action. The goal is to assist the reader in making an informed decision about the product. So whether the product is great, awful, or anywhere in between, you can communicate that assessment as part of the description or review.

___ Though these articles are product descriptions or reviews, I prefer a more "casual and comfortable" style of writing. Not sloppy grammar, but personable.

___ Articles need to be written in EXCELLENT grammatical and fluent U.S. English (not British English; e.g. 'behavior', not 'behaviour'; 'favor', not 'favour'; 'while', not 'whilst', 'spoiled', not 'spoilt', etc.).

___ Article content should read smoothly and naturally for the reader, taking into account American figures of speech and phrases that may be particular to the U.S. or the specific niche of the keywords. Additionally, the content must be free from any typing, spelling, and grammatical errors, with correct English punctuation, capitalization, and sentence structure.

___ Paragraphs should be kept fairly short for readability. 2 sentences or roughly 40-50 words should be typical of paragraph lengths.

___ Do NOT use article 'spin' software to produce these articles. Seldom does such software produce content that reads naturally for the reader. (If you require the use of article 'spin' software, please do not bid on this project.)

___ Articles must be 100% your original work and free of copyrighted, plagiarized, or licensed material from a 3rd party of any kind, including offline material. I verify originality using Copyscape and 'The Plagiarism Checker.'

___ Please minimize usage of UPPER CASE CHARACTERS IN THE BODY OF THE ARTICLES and also the use of exclamation points (!!!), as both of these styles tend to communicate that the writer is yelling at the reader.

___ The articles must not contain any profanity, lewd, or salacious comments - even if the articles center around clothing.

___ Each article needs to be focused on one specific keyword phrase. I will supply the list of keyword phrases for this project, one for each article. Please use the keyword phrases exactly as I provide them, including distinctions between singular and plural words.

___ Where it makes sense in the articles, it will help to mix in concepts associated with the keywords that I provide. For example, associated concepts for 'automobile' might include words such as tires, engine, and automatic transmission (among many others).

___ You should NOT use the same paragraphs or facts in multiple articles. Each article needs to be unique, even if some of the keywords I provide are similar.

___ If some of the keywords are similar (e.g. 'automobile tire' and 'automobile wheels'), then each article still should contain unique content but might include different aspects, angles, or nuances concerning the topics to help make the articles unique.

SPECIFIC ARTICLE STRUCTURE REQUIREMENTS
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

___ Each article should have 500-600 words, roughly 100-150 words in the introductory material and 400-450 additional words for the product description and other relevant details.

___ Each article should include some initial material about how to use the product, and then a thorough and detailed explanation of the product (based on the keyword I provide), its uses, benefits, and (if helpful) some specifications.

___ The content you write can draw heavily from existing product descriptions and reviews, but must NEVER be plagiarized. You should rewrite relevant information in your own words.

___ The articles are product descriptions or reviews, so I'd like the article content to serve as an honest overview and assessment of the product. I am NOT looking for hype or a sales pitch about the product.

___ As a suggestion, to locate some general content that can be used as introductory material in each article, you might search in Google on 'how to use KW' (where 'KW' = whatever the keyword is that I provide).

___ After the article's introductory content, THEN provide the product description or review material. For example, you might search in Google on 'KW review' (where 'KW' = whatever the keyword is that I provide) and then select a product, find an existing review, and rewrite that review in your own words.

___ Place more keyword density toward the beginning of the article and less throughout the middle and end. The total keyword density in each article should be roughly 2% (for example, about 8-10 times total in a 500 word article).

___ Provide one space after each period, colon, or semi-colon in a sentence.

___ Periods, question marks, or exclamation marks that end a sentence, or commas and semi-colons within a sentence should be INSIDE of quotes.

___ If you place three dots at the end or middle of a statement (e.g. 'The missing amount was found later...'), there should only be three dots; no more, no less.

___ When using dashes to separate a thought, use one dash with a space both before and after it ( - ). For example, 'The dog - having escaped its home - ran down the road and was hard to catch.'

___ There is never a space before a period or comma.

___ No paragraph indentation.

___ One blank line between each paragraph.

___ Each article requires a TITLE which should actually BE the keyword phrase that I provide. The title should be in upper and lower case letters with the first letter of each major word capitalized. The title should be left justified, not centered.

___ Each article requires 3-5 short sub-headings (2 words minimum, 6-7 words maximum for sub-headings) to help break up the article content for better readability and to adequately introduce the reader to the next section in the article.

___ The sub-headings should be in upper and lower case letters with the first letter of each major word capitalized. The sub-headings should not end with a period.

___ There should be one empty line both before and after each sub-heading.

___ Each keyword phrase should be used in the FIRST SENTENCE of its article.

___ Each keyword phrase should be included somewhere in the LAST PARAGRAPH of its article.

___ Each keyword phrase should be scattered throughout the rest of the article (roughly 2% keyword density; for example, about 8-10 times total in a 500 word article).

___ Some keyword references can be re-worded in the article where it makes sense for the reader (for example, 'tires' might also be referenced as 'wheels').

*** A sample of the article structure I am requesting for this project is at the very bottom of this project description. There is ALSO an article file attached to this project description. Though the topic of that article is different than this project's, it should nevertheless give you a good idea of the writing structure, content quality, and attention to detail that I'm seeking through your efforts. ***

___ The final version of the articles should be in TEXT format, one file per article named according to the keyword, all in lower case characters, and with a dash separating the words. For example, if the article keyword phrase is 'great automobile tires,' then the article file name should be 'great-automobile-tires.txt'.

___ When complete, all of the article files should be copied into one zip file and delivered to me via email.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT
---------------------------------

All of the articles need to be completed in 7 days from the starting date of this project.

IF I HAVE NOT WORKED WITH YOU IN THE PAST, I WILL INITIALLY SEND YOU ONE KEYWORD FOR YOU TO WRITE ONE ARTICLE ON AND RETURN TO ME BEFORE I SEND YOU THE REMAINING KEYWORDS.

This brief pause will allow me the opportunity to read through your first article to help ensure we are both in sync concerning article requirements before you continue on with the others. I will follow up with you shortly after receiving the first article.

If this short pause in your work results in any significant delay between the time you send me the first article and when I have responded to you, we can extend the length of the project completion date by a day to ensure you have sufficient time to complete the remaining articles.

Other than the pause for evaluating your initial work, no status report is required during the writing period. However, if it appears your delivery of the articles will be delayed, I need to know that at least two days prior to the project completion deadline so that we can negotiate a new delivery date.

Prior to payment for your work, unlimited article revisions will be expected until each of the articles meet all of the requirements in this project posting.

If you have any questions or uncertainty concerning requirements for this project, please contact me. Much better to clarify expectations in advance than do rework.

Upon delivery and payment, all articles will be considered 'work made for hire' under U.S. Copyright law. I will own exclusive and complete copyrights to all competed article content. You may not distribute the articles to anyone other than to me. You may NOT use any of these articles for others who may wish to see samples of your prior work.

The agreed upon bid for this project will be the only compensation due for completion of the articles. Payment at the end of the project will be made through Freelancer's payment service.

Please provide one or more links or file attachments in Freelancer to some of your previously written articles (links DIRECTLY to your specific articles, please, not simply to a website that contains your articles somewhere on them where I must hunt them down and guess which are yours).

For a person experienced with article writing in U.S. English, this should be a simple project.

Your attention to detail with the requirements stated above will weigh heavily in my consideration of selecting your writing services.

I look forward to working with you!

A sample of my requested structure for the articles is just below. It is only a sample, NOT an absolute structure. You certainly can have some flexibility here.
