Project Description:
For lack of success on various forums, I'm looking for someone to create a script, or series of scripts, for RPG Maker VX Ace. The scripting language is a form of Ruby called RGSS3. Unfortunately, as a games designer, narrative engineer, marketing and PR executive I simply don't have the time to learn.

So here's what I require:

During the course of the video game project I am working on, the player will encounter a series of card-battling minigames, which will use a script call. This script will check which cards the player has in their inventory.

The card game is relatively simple. Each of the two players (one player, one AI) picks three cards. The board is a 3x3 board. Each player takes turns placing their card, with each card having an attack and defence statistic, plus arrows that dictate a direction of attack. If a player's card 'beats' an opponent's card, it converts that card to the appropriate player's colour.

Every game is a 'best of three' hands, and at the end the winner is awarded a card of choice from the hand of their opponent.

All graphics will be supplied. As I mentionned, this needs to be a plug-and-play script system for RPG Maker VX Ace, which you can download a 30-day trial for free on their website (just google it).

Thanks for taking the time to look, I look forward to hearing your proposals.

By the way, I am not willing to pay a milestone payment for this job. It should be a very quick project and you will be paid only on receipt of a fully-working system.

Thanks again! Ross
