Google Analytics/Bot Traffic Problem

Project Description:
We've had a problem with visits from seemingly random cities. These outlier cities can account for over 100+ visits in one day, especially with the final screenshot example where 1429 visits were seen from "Little Ferry, NJ" and 842 visits from "Beverly Hills, CA" in the course of one day.

This has happened before, and these "new visitors" stay for an average of 1 second, and bounce nearly 99% of the time. We typically see 500-600 unique visits in an average day.

We had previously thought that all came from the same IP address, though all 1429 visits from "Little Ferry" were considered "New Visits" (100%).
What we need to solve:

If these visitors are robots or don't represent "real" visitors, how do we block them from Google Analytics tracking? Further, how do we account for new bots in new cities as time goes on?

(attached are screenshots of Google Analytics that highlight the outliers. In the "Beverly Hills + Little Ferry" example, the numbers represent one (1) day's worth of visits)
