We're looking for an experienced real estate agent or mortgage broker to work part-time as a commissioned sales rep for us.
We are an email marketing company focused on real estate. Most of our prospects are businesses that want to reach real estate agents via email marketing, and some want to buy real estate related email databases from us. So we're looking for someone who lives the life of our clients’ target prospects (IE a real estate agent) to be a part-time sales rep for us. Who better to sell email marketing services targeted at real estate agents than a real estate agent?
In the same way, we regularly get many prospects who are mortgage brokers seeking to market their services to real estate agents, so we're also seeking a mortgage broker sales rep who can handle leads from mortgage brokers who inquire about our services.
What we're looking for is an experienced real estate agent and mortgage broker (ideally someone who is both) to handle in-bound calls and emails from prospects interested in and inquiring about our services. We do extensive email marketing regularly and get dozens of prospects making inquiries each week. Though none of our current sales reps are real estate agents in the past 4 years we’ve learned a great deal about real estate agents and how to market to them. Over time with our growing knowledge of real estate we’ve mastered the art of selling our services and email databases, but we simply can’t handle the amount of business coming our way ourselves. That’s where you come in.
So we need an experienced real estate agent and a mortgage broker to answer phone calls or emails from prospects, answer the questions they have about email marketing, and close them. You will have a full support staff behind you including an inside sales rep who will create and send quotations on your behalf and handle invoicing and any other admin tasks you need done. Everything will be very systematic and tracked through salesforce.com. For training you will also have help from us including an extensive Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) file prospects usually have for referring to on our website as needed plus coaching from our president whenever you need it on closing prospects.
The main thing you need to do is answer inquiries from these prospects, respond to them in a timely fashion if you can’t answer the first phone call, then talk to them and understand their needs, and then instruct our inside sales person on quoting them on an email marketing project or a database sale. Once the quote is sent you'd need to follow up in a systematic fashion with these prospects as prompted by our salesforce.com online CRM and tracking tool. These are prospects that are already interested, so there is no hard sell required to close them.
This is a commission based arrangement where you get 25% of the revenue from all business you bring in. You won’t have to make in-person visits to any of these prospects. Everything is done via phone or email. The vast majority of your time will be spent on the phone talking to inquiring prospects about our services and email databases and negotiating with them.
For instance, in the past week we had a prospect find us through our Facebook pay per click ads inquire about buying several of our Canadian real estate email databases. In the end our sales rep sold the prospect $1700 worth of email databases. That paid $425 for about an hour of work.
