Project Description:
I have a bash script that I created, the script itself is quite simple, I need this script rewritten into a more professional format, I also need suggestions on any improvements that can be made to the script.
The script asks for a username and password and uses echo and read to pass this to the script.
echo -n "Enter the username you want to add and press [ENTER]: "
read USERNAME
echo -n "Enter the password you want and press [ENTER]: "
read PASSWORD
I'm currently having a problem passing the password for the htdigest user inside the bash script which I need resolved.
The server uses Debian 6 64bit
