Project Description:
This project has 2-parts which you can bid on both or on one, depending upon your expertise. Please note, I may award you the consultation work but perhaps not the technical work, or I may award part 1 and part 2 to the same bidder, but you must bid on each part separately.

Part 1. Consultation work - you will be bidding on providing me with a detailed 1 or 2-page, step-by-step report, or flowchart, on the best method to complete my project (see details on project below). Report should also include a review of any screen capture software, merchant service, etc., that you are recommending.

Background - possibly a technical writer with good English writing skills, project manager, knowledgeable in video software training



Part 2. Bid for Implementation of project - you will be bidding on providing the actual work after I have confirmed best method. I have a couple of existing websites which you can use with cPanel access; both on shared Linux servers. The same Linux host provider also offer SSL service. I have access to PayPal API or other local bank merchant services. Once I create the video training, I may also need you to edit the series.

PROJECT DETAILS:

To create a series of software training videos that customers/trainees can log into from our website for either immediate access or the ability to log in at their convenience after purchase of any session. Sessions may be (not yet confirmed) 1, 2 or 3 month access.


NEEDS OF THE TRAINER: I will be using [screen cast -o- matic dot com] as my screen capture recording application to create the software training videos.

I will be creating the training videos from my WIN7 desktop. I'll need the ability to toggle between screens, as I will need to show the training materials then the software that the customers will be trained on.

I do not want the trainee to be able to download or record training videos. However, trainee should have the ability to save were they left off and pickup same place when they return.

I need some kind of security measure in place that will detect user's IP perhaps.

I want to create a quiz that the trainee can take after their session and give immediate results.


NEEDS OF THE TRAINEE: The customer/trainee will need the stop, pause, forward/backward controls. The ability to purchase access to the training videos, receive log-in information that expires after the timeframe which they purchased. For example; trainee can purchase 1, 2 or 3-months access (just an example).

Trainee may need to be able to show time spent upon the completion of each session.

Trainee will need access to download materials (pdf), after purchase of sessions.

Trainee should have the ability to save work started and complete at another time.

OTHER INFORMATION YOU SHOULD KNOW: The maker of the software I will be using to train customers on has free demo versions. The customer/trainee can download a free demo or I can somehow have the software already on my server where they can use. I'll leave this decision up to the Project Manager/Consultant.

Project timelines:
A. creation of first training video: no later than 11/23. Will need some editing upon completion and will be included in Part 2 bid.
B. choose Consultant/Prog Mgmt (Part 1): no later than 10/15
C. choose Technical person (Part 2): no later than 10/19

Part 2 project will not be able to begin until project plans has been confirmed with Part I bidder.
Part 2 project bidder may be able to begin working on the client-side preparing the Linux server for whatever needs to be done. I should have from Part 1 bidder a flowchart as to what needs to be done in order of priority. Part 2 bidder will work from that flowchart.
