The app we would like developed comes in two forms for the iPhone / iPad.
1. Free Version - there is iAd and the iPhone notification has a 20 mins delay.
2. Paid version, no ads , no notification delays
The app is called RecievePay and is a simple and easy way to receive
payment from anyone with a QRcode reader.
The user (receiver) simply enters a description and the amount to be
requested, a QRcode is the generated on the screen which is a code
for a mobile PayPal URL.
The URL contains the following
* receivers PayPal email. ( set in settings)
* amount
* description
* Currency (set in settings)
* IPN listeners URL (set in app)
The user then points the screen to the person requesting funds from
allowing them to scan using their qrcode reader.
The sender is then redirected to the mobile PayPal site for which
they can preform payment using either their PayPal account or credit
card.
Once the payment is successful, the receiver receives a notification
indicating amount and who the payment was form.(20 mins delay for free version)
When the app is run for the first time, the user is asked to set
their PayPal username and their default currency.
For a customer using the free version, to remove the notification delay, they must allow the app to
post promotions on the users Facebook wall every month. App stays logged in until logged out.
