Project Description:
We want to have an efficient way to manage the set-up of 30 of our 7" tablet PCs. We will be using these Android 4.0 tablet PCs on our wireless network. They will be used primarily with a browser for accessing our Employee Portal on the web. In addition they should have anti-virus software, Skype, Adobe Reader and have LAN chat functionality, a music player and a video player, plus a transparent clock with 60-120 minutes timer.
This project should lead to a proposal for the most efficient way for our System Admin to manage these tablets, both for the initial set-up, maintenance and future upgrades. We want to have a standardized set-up so that we can ideally tank up all the 30 tablets in one go with the approved apps at any time.
