Our company markets an e-commerce solution in Europe. For each solution sold we need some custom templating done.
We are seeking reliable contractors to work with us on an ongoing basis. As part of our growth we are putting together a small talented group of css/xhtml/ web programmers/designers (freelancers) to work for us in addition to our in-house staff.
Normally the client has an existing layout and would like this transformed into our solution. We use xhtml/css and xml/xslt.
We would like to connect with new suppliers in this field.
To make sure that the chosen provider is the right one for the job we would like to see samples of delivered work in production. If you have no references in production then you are properly not the right one for the job. The references should use standard compliant xhtml/css.
The first job will be the following:
We will purchase template 11117, 11406 and 11843 from templatemonster.com. Read about the templates before bidding if this is a new thing.
The demo should use a css template switcher in the form of a dropdown so it is possible to switch between the three different templates without changing the xhtml.
These following demands must be filled:
- there will be one single css file pr. Template
- the final result should valid / xhtml and valid css
- there will be only one set of xhtml files that all three templates must use
- each template should use the directory structure
In step 2 you will install these templates into our e-commerce solution. We use umbraco (see www.umbraco.org) as the template engine. This task should not be part of your offer since it must be almost impossible to estimate for you right now.
The perfect applicant must have good communications ability, reply quickly to E-mails and preferably have access by telephone or skype or messenger.
We would prefer individuals who are physically located in Europe or Eastern Europe or a Country between GMT and GMT +4 hours - that can be reached by telephone/skype etc. during normal business hours as the need occurs,
All work produced is work for hire and we will retain all rights to Our expectations regarding pricing is around $300-400.
