Project Description:
The project is divided into 2 parts:

1. On http://code.google.com/p/ip45/source/browse/#svn%2Ftrunk%2Fip45d is a source code of simple daemon written in C that exchanges data between the network virtual interface (from the tap driver) and the network socket. The daemon works properly on Windows platform as a command line application. The aim of the project is the extension of this command as to be able to be installed and run as a regular Windows service. This can be inspired by OpenVPN project (https://github.com/OpenVPN/openvpn/tree/master/src/openvpnserv). As the compiler mingw should be used.

2. Prepare NSIS (http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Main_Page) for installing the service from the previous point to user friendly manner. Inspiration can also be taken from OpenVPN project (https://github.com/OpenVPN/openvpn-build/tree/master/windows-nsis).

As the result, source codes, scripts and demonstration of the working solution will be provided. The project shouldn't be much difficult to someone who is familiar with Windows programming.
