G' Day Coders, I am looking for a Firefox plugin that will handle direct http to ftp file transfers. I want to cut out my PC as a middle man and bypass my slow upload speed by 'downloading' files from a webpage straight to my server. At the moment I am just looking for a rough hack to do it right now, so we are not talking about coding something from scratch. I think the easiest and quickest way is to improve on the source code of FireFTP with the following features. - Instead of the left side being your PC, The left side would now be the http web page. Here is how it would work... The user types in the web page in the top field. The plugin then lists all the files on that page (including web pages, images, zip etc). The user then selects the files he wants to transfer directly to his server. That's it. If you can suggest an even easier and quicker way that is easy enough for a dumb person like me to use, I am all ears. Please note:- this is NOT ftp to ftp transfer as I only have access to one ftp account (my own server). I'm looking forward to your bid, Sincerely, Paul Kleinmeulman Australia P.S. Feel free to legally use any open source you can find.
