Project Description:
We need a script that will allow users to upload their CV/Resume and extract the information from it and perhaps write it to a simple pipe delimited datafile that we can then work with. It is perhaps impossible for this to work with every CV but we want it to work for 90%+. The information extracted will include things like:
Name:
Address:
Phone:
Email:
Employment History ((company name, job position, years, location) x 2-4)
Education History (similar to above)
The website is hosted on a *nix server with limited Perl modules installed (Cam-PDF is installed). If it can be done in alternative, compatible languages, we will be happy with that.
