Project Description:
Remote Server, OpenStack Havana single server installation on Centos 6.5 (64bit) using EPEL packstack 2013.2.1-0.29.dev956.el6. Provisioning and installation, configuration (openstack answer file for packstack) possible using single script. Login to Horizon Dashboard as Admin possible thereafter. SSH Root login to server granted. Preload of OpenStack variables with single command granting admin rights to all OpenStack components including Neutron.

Problem: Server has one ethernet card, master 1 IP and another /29 network (different gateway from master) to be used for virtual machines. Configure Neutron routing so instances can be launched into private network. Selected instances are to be assigned outside IP from the pool of /29 network. Access control filtered using standard OpenStack security groups.

Deliverable. Single file script. Either bash-sh, python-py or ruby.rb to remove old Neutron settings and apply new settings.

Test: Test to be performed with 2 Ubuntu 12.04 images launched into private network. Ping router, ping each other. Then assign public IP to one VM, ping instance from outside, ping from inside both vm's inside, and ping each other on internal ip.

Note: This test will potentially open up other assignments.
