Project Description:
A small web and software development company needs technical support assistance for a Windows 2003 server (Standard Edition), running MailEnable and Plesk. The server is currently processing mail very slowly, and a security compromise is suspected.
You must have the skills for the job, excellent feedback, and be able to start immediately. Residence in the United States is a plus, but not required.

Is it MailEnable Standard (Free), Professional or Enterprise? What version of Server 2003 are you running? (SBE, Standard, Enterprise, etc). If you suspect there's a security compromise, and if that is in fact the case, then your problem may or may not be MailEnable. MailEnable does have a known
issue if it hasn't been patched but basically the OS has to be reinstalled if that particular issue is the culprit. There is no way to estimate the probable duration and involvement of the job (and thus formulate a bid) from the information you give. If it requires an OS installation it's going to
be a lot more than your budget of $250. Get back to me if you want to discuss options to resolve your issue, I've been working with systems like you describe for over 10 years (incl. Server 2000) and in the IT industry for almost 30.
