Project Description:
Windows service system tray application that downloads TXT files or PDFs for local delivery to local printer/folder or both.Required functionality:
1. Java Application to run as a Windows service.
2. System tray icon to display agent status and config options.
3. Retrieve messages from FTP (plus FTPS implicit support) server (HL7 messages and/or PDF.) using passive mode FTP connections.
4. Deliver dowloaded HL7(ASCII TEXT FILE) and/or PDF files to designated local folder.
5. Auto print downloaded PDFs/documents received from FTP Server.
6. Create Windows OS installer/uninstaller for preconfigured agent application.
7. Event logging for Agent side audit logs.
8. Upload acknowledgement ACK message to FTP Server of successful delivery. (Printer or Folder Delivery)
9. Upload negative acknowledgement ACK message to FTP Server of failed delivery and error message indicating failure reason. (Printer or Folder Delivery)
10. Create infrastructure for easy update of the FTP Autoprint Agent software.
11. Heartbeat upload windows system\printer status message to FTP Server in specific messaging format.
12. Reprint option for last PDF document downloaded.
13. Configurable watch folder, files found here to be uploaded to FTP Server FTPS inbox.
14. Robust, high throughput application to handle hundreds of messages per day.
