We have a domain set up on godaddy and we frequently use the FTP for clients and uploading files. The solution we are looking for is that as soon as any file is uploaded to a particular folder it should automatically generate an email notification to a email.Skills required:

I use GoDaddy hosting myself. Question, do you use the ftp logins available from the account admin panel or do you have a script that handles the ftp from the site? Reason is a script definitely can include an email notification. But the admin ftp logins are part of the hosting capabilities so could not provide such a notification. Or are you looking for some ftp based solution?
These details affect the ability to even do what you desire and the effort involved. I will try to monitor for your reply, or better just 'invite' me to bid so I can open the project again.over 2 years ago
