Project Description:
We have an existing MySQL database that holds product data and is used internally for reporting. We want to have built an online web interface to allow customers to purchase a user license to access this data (via an API shopping service), to logon, to search the data by selecting up to 5 different variable combinations, and to download results into Excel. Basic administrative functions including password reset, update user ID, etc. are also required.Developers will be provided a development instance of Tomcat 6 with full access to a MySQL database. All pages are to be written using a n-tier architecture, the front-end being JSP and middle tier being Java 5. All business logic is in Java 5. Developers will be required to extensively use Cascading Style Sheets to control Look/Feel. No in-line styles should exist. PDF images of the screen designs will be provided and must be followed precisely. A complete list of functional and technical specifications is attached.
