advanced modular Flash gallery with mini cms.

Project Description:

I'm an experienced designer / developer but have little time at the moment to design this.

this gallery is very modular and can load jpg and swf.

It needs to be designed to that it can be embedded in existing flash files. (I use CS4, and happy with as3 or as2 files). Also can use in html pages.

loaded images have optional titles and descriptions. There is an option to show these with the thumbnail. So if I have an image with a description and a title, I can have an option to show these with the thumbnail or not. I am happy to edit the flash or code for this to HIDE or SHOW title and HIDE or SHOW title with thumbnail.

THUMBNAILS
- set grid size : (specifically how many thumbnails wide and how many deep by numerical input for each. I am ok to edit the code for this.)
- thumbnail dimensions : (width and height of thumbnail image. I am happy to edit the code for this)
- thumbnail spacing: (space between each thumbnail. I am happy to edit the code for this)
- optional title - enter by CMS
- optional description - enter by CMS
- loading images into gallery - enter by CMS
- no editing code to enter titles, descriptions, thumbnails or images please. cms or visual code editor please.

THE THUMBNAIL is loaded a movieclip or external swf behind it. This way I can customize the decoration myself (border etc) by editing the movieclip or uploading a new swf. This is so I can chance the appearance/ style of my thumbnails.

thumbnail movieclip has 4 essential layers:
1- title text box - loads the title
2 - description text box - loads the description.
3 - loader - loads the thumbnail image
4 - This layer is for designing the background decoration / container for the image or swf. Its just a layer behind the image so I can add a black box or something.
This way I can drag the title and descriptions to wherever I want relative to the thumbnail image.


THE BIG IMAGE
when clicking the thumbnail it will load the larger version.
The container must be a movielip that I can edit. Just like the thumbnail it will contain on 2 separate layers the text box for the optional title, and the text box for the optional description. This way I can do the layout of the big image viewer myself. So there will be 4 essential layers in this clip:
1- title text box - loads the title
2 - description text box - loads the description.
3 - swf / jpg loader - loads the big image
4 - This layer is for designing the background decoration / container for the image or swf. Its just a layer behind the image so I can add a black box or something.


THIS GALLERY MUST USE THINGS LIKE TWEENER / SMOOTHING / EASING / BLURRED FADES !!

I CAN SET THE THUMBNAIL GRID SIZE. This means i might have a 2 x 4 grid but 50 images. I need buttons allowing my to view the next and previous pages!! These pages can simply fade in.

I don't need categories. I will use another copy of the flash, loading images from a different folder for a different category and have it on a different page or load it into a different container in the timeline.


WHEN SENDING YOUR PM PLEASE CONFIRM THE MAIN POINTS
- jpg and swf loading
- can customize the movielips containing the thumbnail and also the big image
- no code editing needed to add new thumbnail with image / swf
- customize thumbnail dimensions and grid size and spacing (I can edit code for this if needed)
- login cms to add image, thumbnail, title and description.
- can embed in flash files
- can copy on a different frame in the timeline for a different category which I will also be able to customize. I am happy to edit the actionscript to target different script files on the server so that it doesn't conflict with the 1st gallery. It would clearly need to target another copy of the cms too?


If you want I'll send you the thumbnail movieclip and big image movieclip into which the loaders for the thumbnail and image are inserted.
Otherwise design a simple black box for testing and I'll edit the fla myself after you complete.


when will you finish? what languages will you use? what is your total cost?
let me see samples of your work if possible.
