For a multi-level marketing company, I have a spreadsheet which needs peoples' names automatically input into 5 cells, following selection of one person's name in a cell. The names are derived from a tree in another sheet.

Make the sheet into a duplicatable template for repeated use.

    Hi, in case you still need this done, I have worked on it over the past two days as it is an interesting job, and I have completed the complicated bits to my satisfaction. My solution will still require a lot of data entry and setting up to get all the trees set up, and it will need some documentation as well, as you may need to edit some of the variables at some point.

    Hi. An excel file can be used repeatedly if it saved as template.
    Have you tried to save your excel file as template?

    And you will repeatedly use the template without overwriting the original file.
