Project Description:
We require a developer to work on part of a flex/lcds/java application.We presently have a Flex3 client application, a dedicated server running LCDS under Tomcat and a seperate dedicated server running a Java application which handles the business logic.
You will be required to configure LCDS (using Tomcat) and produce the best method of allowing the Flex application to connect persistently to the Java application via LCDS, where messages can be sent to the Java application from the Flex application and messages can be pushed to Flex application from the Java application over RTMP/NIO-AMF in near real time.
You will need to supply the Flex source in AS3, the source and compiled files/directory structures for Tomcat/LCDS and the source for the Java Application which will be sending and receiving messages to/from LCDS. All non-default configurations and programming must be documented.
