Joomla Site not opening in IE6

My site runs on Joomla 1.5.14 and works perfectly in IE7, IE8 and Firefox. However when you try to open site in IE6 you get the following responese "Could not complete operation due to error 80004004"I require someone to locate what is causing this error and identify the error to me. I will also require them to correct the error.
Any freelancer bidding on this project must have extensive experience working with Joomla
