Project Description:
We use a Windows software application to look up part numbers. We are looking to extract the data from this application for use in a custom database. We have searched the applications data files and there is text based content, however it’s not in a usable format.
Attached is an example of one of the application data files (see GC791210.Original.zip). We are looking for someone to help find a solution on how these data files can be used to identify the part numbers and specific lines as at the moment most part numbers appear to be on only a couple of very wide lines. It may be changing character sets, opening in specific IDE or....this is what we need you for.
If this sounds like a job for you, you can contact us for further details (e.g. the application name and details / actual part number strings to look for / screen shots of how the data from the attached file is displayed).

It looks like the example data file is one of several the files created after installing the "TOYOTA ELECTRONIC PARTS CATALOG SYSTEM" (EPC).
Are you sure that you only want to extract the data contained in this file and not from the other related files that make up the data used in
the EPC system?
Which Version/Year of EPC are you using?
