Project Description:
I have a full VB project that I need converting into VB.NET.This project is deisgned to take an object from a scanner, using Twain, and FTP it to our American Server, into specific places. In addition to converting this VB6 program a new front end will need to be added to pretty the original design. Extra functionality, like RSS feeds, and customer logos to be added. Drag and Drop filing area, for upload to the ftp server is also required.
Successful candidate should be able to show a quick turnaround of the project, and be able to work from the frontend representation.
This project uses Chilkat FTP and GDPicturePro third party OCX files, but if the VB.NET system can remove the use of these then so much better. The candidate has to have an understanding of these third party addins to ensure that the functionality of the project stays intact.
