Project Description:
We are a non profit foundation that is in need of a new website. We need someone to design a site that is not only cutting edge, but very easy to update, with the ease of use of something like wix.com. The owner, who is not very comfortable with computers, needs to be able to edit it.(ie, we need the ability to be able to move pictures from one end of the the front page, to the middle, shrink the picture size, add a video to the left of it(again, something similar to a wix.com site). Wix does not have the ability to do forums, or a real storefront, or individualized (useful) logins, etc.. Our current webpage is www.squarefootgardening.com . Here is a sample page of some of the type of things I need www.wix.com/squarefoot/sfg. We want vibrant colors, animations (basically we want something like these guys do http://www.12grainstudio.com/site.swf)We also need a fully functioning, storefront with the ability to set shipping and handling prices on a per item basis(each item must be able to have it's own combination of shipping and handling charges, with some being set for USPS, while others only going FedEX, that type of thing) We also need to have an advanced forum like what we have now(in fact, if there is a way to import this forum so we don't lose all the posts, the better). Finally, we need to have separate sections for regularly registered people, and a special entry for teachers that can have access to their own sections of the site that others don't get access to(including special storefront deals only available to teachers)This is a pretty advanced site so If you want to bid, please give me your price and several samples of your work.
