most of the fields that are on my site are drop down menus when you register as a new member . the only drop down menu i want is male or female , and state options when registering , all other will be input text buy user ( i know this will bisable most of the searching capability on my site) . all other fields showing on this page i want users to be able to edit into a "text field" so they can put in anything they want when uploading a new profile.

that how i want my customers pages to look for the most part. and leave alot of text fields open for text input of their own when signing up in the registration part of the site .
