Project Description:

We require for our client :

1) DESIGN :

To create a company logo for a French firm of lawyers, (doesn't need to be too complicated!) which can then be integrated into the website design / layout, based around the look and feel of the following sites:

thefrenchpaper.com , http://theeconomist.com and the Private Lawyer website

2) TECHNICAL :

We require the web site to be written in basic PHP, MYSQL, standard HTML and javascript form validation, so that we can can go in and perform minor updates ourselves In the future.

For the website our customer requires :

- The "Home Page" - featuring intro and details of the company and editorial etc, allowing space for vertical (i.e. skyscraper style) advertising banners. They require access via a password protected CMS, so that they can edit the text in this page.

- Two other pages for miscellaneous content, including (eventually) paid advertising (to be paid for automatically via PayPal integration). They require access via a password protected CMS, so that they can edit the text in this page.

- System to enable automatic uploading of adverts (banners or text) to pre-defined positions in "selectable" pages, with real-time automated payment via PayPal. On successful payment, system would automatically display the adverts for a specified time period, according to start/end dates entered / selected by the client. (Advertising periods to be confirmed, but probably "monthly"). System must not allow addition of adverts in the same pages on the same dates...

- System to automatically delete the adverts after the specified time period that was paid for by the advertiser

- Setup of PayPal payment processing, for automated payment of the paid advertising.

Our customer would be responsible for the initial set-up of the PayPal account, including PayPal Verification process - We would like the pages created so that we can simply copy & paste the HTML PayPal Payment button into the relevant place in the page. (NOte there would be different prices depending on page / advert type selected.)


- System to enable you to upload / edit unlimited articles*, of approximately "4 sides of A4" per article,
- and then to automatically create a unique web page for each article,
- and then to automatically create "links" to each article/web page, from an "Article Menu" (from the navigation bar)

* Regarding the uploading of articles, these would be uploaded as a "plain text" file (i.e. "article.txt"). A simple online editor should be included, which would enable customer to add additional formatting to each article "online" if necessary, i.e.to add "Bold" or "italics" or "underline" etc to an article.

- facility to enable customer to DELETE any of the article pages and their associated links

- Each article would be uploaded in upto 4 different languages, so cross referencing between each language variation of an article would be useful, for example if someone finds the article in French, but would prefer to read the English version
