All I need is somebody to help me set up whatever I need to set up to make my website visible from the Internet. The site is visible from my network at 192.168.0.13, but I do not know, and the instructions on how to do it are a NIGHTMARE, how to make it visible from the outside. My server is ENITEL in Nicaragua, their IP address is: 126.96.36.199 and this IP serves virtually all the 2000+ modems in the country. I have set up my modem's model RCA Thomsom DWG855TLG port forwarding, BUT my problem is that I DO NOT UNDERSTAND how the thing is supposed to work and I have been unable to find a decent article about it on the Internet. I am guessing here, that what is needed is a program installed in my server (ddclient maybe?) that will tell Dyn.com what port it is listening to and then Dyn passes this info on to the lookup sites, the sites that convert the url names into ip addresses however they are called? Whatever. All you need to do is to guide me, step by step, on how to do it and as soon as I manage to do it the money is yours along with my eternal gratitude, and if I fail, or if it just cannot be done, well, tough luck. I AM NOT DENSE. It is that I am dying to have my website on the Internet and I want to do it yesterday. And the 'experts' at technical support at ENITEL do not even KNOW what I am talking about when I ask them.
UPDATE: I just noticed that my isp ip never changes. it is possible that what i really need is to set up a reverse proxy server. i have a server in the states that i could use as proxy. anybody can help me? i need this yesterday. a promp reply would be appreciated. also, please give me a reasonable price; you are not going to write a single line of code, just tell me how to do it
