Maintaining and deploying desktop hardware & software, and hp thin client terminals
Require knowledge- TCP/IP, DNS and internet technologies, Windows XP & Windows 7.
Most support requests have to do with troubleshooting simple desktop and thin client operations like setting logins and passwords, logging on to terminal services manager and configuring profiles, resetting profiles, right click and remote to profile to observer user problem, logging on to domain controller and troubleshooting printer issues, note printer status, if errors or warning run troubleshooting, remove/add printers, print test page, advise on site persons on hardware configuration, ipconfig, dns, dhcp, internet access. Third party applications support generally requires contacting third party software vendors for tech support and providing them access to log on remote with a remote desktop application. Any troublesome errors need to be well documented and forwarded to a analyst.
