PROJECT TITLE:
Write a Job Winning Application

PROJECT BACKGROUND
I currently work for the Northern Territory Government in Australia. I am currently at an Administrative Officer 4 position and would like to apply for, and win, a position at the level of Administrative Officer 5. I have attached a job description of the job that I wish to win. The closing date for the vacancy is Sunday January 27th, 2013.

THE GOAL / DESIRED END POINT:
To win Gary a higher paying job within the Northern Territory Government (Australia).

THE TASK:
To write a job application for a job that closes on Sunday January 27th, 2013 (a copy of the job description is attached).

THE OUTPUT REQUIRED:
Write a resume for the job (up to 2 pages long)
Write a document addressing the selection criteria (up to 3 pages long)
Write a cover letter / email (up to 1 page long)
To research the agency and job and then contact the person responsible for recruiting for this job and ask questions about the job to help improve the quality of the application and email me outlining their response.
To contact the agency 2-3 weeks after the deadline closes and seek feedback on the quality and success/failure of the application and email me describing their response.

THE IDEAL PERSON
A person with a background in this type of task.
A person with a background in Recruitment / Human Resources / Interviewing / Selecting people for jobs (especially government jobs)
A person with experience and expertise at writing winning job applications

THE REMUNERATION
Bids should be within the budget selected.
30% deposit. 70% upon completion.

I will provide the following support documents to help the writer in completing this project:
The job description (outlining Job Title, Primary Objective, Key Responsibilities, Selection Criteria) – a copy of which is attached.
15-20 applications of previous government jobs that I have applied for (15-20 resumes, 15-20 documents addressing selection criteria) which can be used or discarded as the writer sees fit.
Replies via email (and possibly Yahoo Messenger) to answer as many questions as the writer wishes to ask in order to help them with being able to complete the project
