The GTeam FZ LLC Test Plan Engineer (US Based) pays $20/hr, with a $400 fixed price payment if your trial performance leads to a successful hire. Please note that we require signup or an existing affiliation with an approved staffing and payment platform that charges a percentage fee of your gross earnings that will impact your net payment. The pay rate for United States citizens and permanent residents is $16/hr to cover W-2 processing.
A Test Plan Engineer reviews videos that demonstrate a software product's functionality then logically groups bits of functionality into tests. Tests can be based on performance use cases, customer use cases, fixed bugs, product manuals, customer support tickets, and coverage reports. Test plan engineers work on multiple products, multiple technologies and multiple environments.
A candidate must:
Have at least two years of experience in quality assurance. e.g. manual testing, test case documentation, test case automation.
Have strong technical communication skills - writing and speaking
Be familiar with current software development practices and tools like virtual environments, source control, remote development, issue tracking, and product build and installation
Be familiar with object-oriented programming and script writing
Only candidates who met the following should apply:
At least 2 years of quality assurance experience
A back ground in basic programming skills
Object oriented programming knowledge
Ability to communicate technically - writing and speaking
United States citizen/ permanent resident
In addition, this role has the following non-technical requirements:
1) English - all candidates must be able to speak and write capably in English. English need not be the native first language, but it should be sufficient to enable technical discussion.
2) Video - candidates must have the computer hardware and networking bandwidth to conduct a seamless video skype conversation for team communication. Ongoing use of webcam for billing and skype video are required.
3) Full Time - This job is only offered for a Full Time basis (40 hours/week).

We’re looking for progress and dedication; if you show that, we may have other positions in GTeam FZ LLC for you even if you don’t get the assignment quite right.
