Therefore, I would like my 100,000 word novel completely translated by a native German speaker with writing/ghostwriting abilities.
I understand that some elements may not translate well, if at all. There are some jokes/phrases that may only make sense in English.
That is why some creative writing ability is also essential, as this is a fantasy novel.
THE TRANSLATION MUST BE PERFECT, AND MAKE ABSOLUTE SENSE TO NATIVE GERMAN SPEAKERS.
Incorrect/literal translations will result in poor reviews from German readers, and therefore NO/LOW sales. This will affect YOURS, and MY pay check.
You will receive an upfront payment of no more than $100, PLUS I am willing to share the profits of the sale of this eBook 50/50. This means you will receive your 50% share of the eBook sales monthly, no matter how big or small. I will provide you with monthly reports given to me by Amazon as proof of the books sales/earnings.
IF this book sells well there will be more work for you, translating books #2 and #3 in the trilogy. (All books are full-length novels ranging from 75,000 - 100,000 words) This translation WILL TAKE TIME. These books are 300-400 pages long. I do not want this rushed. There is no deadline.
You will share in 50% of the profits from all German translation version book sales. Not only that but you will also be recognized as co-author, and listed on amazon.
I understand that this may be a risk, without knowing how much $$$ you can make from sales. I too am taking a risk by offering this eBook in another language. This will be a joint business venture between you and I. There is no guarantee that this eBook will sell.
