I have eight small Powerpoint files (the largest has 48 pages, the smallest has 21) that need to be translated into Brazilian Portuguese. These source documents are in English but I also have them available in Spanish. In addition to text, these files contain a large number of graphics images, some of which also contain text.
I also have Brazilian Portuguese translations of an early version of these presentations, however the text from these versions would need to be copied to the new files, with appropriate updates, and the formating of the new files preserved.
These presentations contain some technical wording relating to disaster preparedness, fire fighting and emergency medical procedures, which would need to be accurately translated. The previous translations could help with some of this terminology, however the jobs requires someone who is familiar with the currently used Brazilian Portuguese phrases for many of these activities (e.x. Produtos Perigosos or PP for Hazmat, etc).
NOTE (1): This is a repost of a previous job (1475622) as the winner bidder unfortunately did not complete the project nor respond to my attempts to contact him.
NOTE (2): My previous post of this job was followed by a fake, with an exact copy of my text in this project description, at project number 1475827. I guess they hoped to subcontract and somehow win this contract. Should this happen again, please be away that user pcull is the true owner of this project!
NOTE (3): Only legitimate Portuguese speakers need apply. Google-Translate users and translation-farms in undeveloped countries will not be accepted.
NOTE (4): Please note: I did say that there are EIGHT small Powerpoint files in this project. I can send one file to prospective bidders for evaluation purposes, but please don't think that that one file is the entire project!
