I am a voluntarily retired Deputy General Manager (Official Language) of State Bank of India, Mumbai. Holding that post for about 10 years, I was the all-India in-charge of Translation, Training and Public Relations Departments of the State Bank of India.
Earlier, I worked as an Assistant General Manager (Official Language) in Reserve Bank of India for about 21 years. There also I was the in-charge of Translation, Training and Public Relations Departments of various offices of Reserve Bank of India such as Bankers' Training College, Mumbai; RBI, Jaipur; RBI, New Delhi; RBI, Kanpur; RBI, Central Office, Mumbai etc. There also I was the editor of RBI's house magazines.
Presently I am working as the Editor (Hindi) of India's largest selling career magazine “Competition Success Review”, New Delhi. I also take coaching classes in Hindi for IAS aspirants and Journalism classes for Journalism students in this company's Career and Courses Wing.
As such, I have more than 30 years’ experience of editing, writing, translation and teaching. I am a native Hindi speaker and have equal command on Hindi and English, both the languages along with sound knowledge of Sanskrit and Urdu.
Qualification wise I am BA Honors with Hindi as the main subject and English and Economics as the subsidiary subjects; MA in Hindi, PG Dip in Journalism and PhD in Hindi from University of Delhi/Rajasthan.
Also, I am a very senior and reputed Hindi writer having published more than 500 articles and 50+ books on various subjects including Hindi language and literature, banking, finance, management, and fictions. These books include English-English “Encyclopedic Dictionary of Banking and Financial Terms” prepared by me with more than 10,000 words and a set of six books on management in Hindi by the name of "Prabandhan Guru Ke Mantra".
I am considered one of the best Indian Translators having translated more than 10 English books into Hindi for the reputed Publishers and companies such as Jaico Publishing House, Mumbai; Vishwa Books, New Delhi; National Institute of Open Schooling, New Delhi etc. To name a few, I have translated RyuhoOkawa’s book “I’m Fine Spirit” and John Leach’s book “The Success Factor” for Jaico Publishing House, Mumbai; “Kautilya’sArthshastra” for Priyadarshani Academy, Mumbai; AseemChaudhary’sbook “Vivekanand A Born Leader” for AdvaitAasharam, Kolkata, and Ingrid Albuquerque-Solomon’s book “Not Allowed to Cry: The Birla Battle with Cancer” for Berean Bay Media House Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. Of late, I have translated and edited a UK based big English website into Hindi having about 25,000 lexemes.
