Project Description:
We have a HTML5 media player that plays video and images from a local drive. The files to play are described in an XML file. In order to not have a pause between videos, the videos are pre-loaded and then play.

This has a problem with video:
- on Android 4.1 Chrome and webview, the video does not autoplay (requires user to click).
- on Firefox, the video autoplays, but crashes after a short period of time (I believe this is a Firefox bug).

The job:
modify existing HTML5 code so that it retains all existing functionality but successfully autoplays video on either or all of Chrome/webview or Firefox on Android 4.1 , with no pause on video loading. The code must run reliably for at least 24 hours non stop.
