Project Description:
Hello,
I am looking for someone to build an After Effect project for a rotating rectangular cube on a black background. Simple, minimalist, elegant and clean.
The 4 side-faces will be 1920x1080, and the top and bottom faces will be 1920x1920.
On the 6 faces of the cubes I will later place QT video (I'll do it myself, here on my own computer) imported as 1920x1080 at 25p, that I will prepare in Avid Media Composer5.
The resulting cube will be smoothly rotating on himself from right to left on the X axis, then for a short while from top to bottom on the Y axis, then again from right to left for a bit, and so on.
The total lengh will be around 5min, but I must be able to extend or shorten this lengh. Same applies to speed of rotation: it will be defined beforehand (approximately one full rotation in 45sec), but I must be able to modify it, as the rotation may sometimes accelerate or go more slowly depending on narration.
Please see attached a sketch that gives you an idea of my requirement. The AE template should be a solid basis for me to get an elegant and smooth final result. Nothing tacky, just a very clean rotating cube, very harmonious and calm, clean. Some lighting might be used If it adds depth and quality, I leave it for you to make such propositions when you will be building the effect.
I am skilled in video editing on Avid Media Composer but have no practice of After Effects5.5, so your composition should be neatly organized for me to be able to tweek what is needed without much problems.
The bidder must be willing to provide me with advices and support, if needed, when I will be placing the QT footage, because I am likely to have some questions when I will be adjusting and rendering everything.
There is no titling work involved. One last thing: I work in PAL, not NTSC.
