I have an application that is written in vb.net and with libraries in C#. I have recently added image recognition in it. When I create a sample application and create a couple screenshots and save them with paint to check it usually works properly. Although in my application it does not.
The part of my application I am having trouble with looks on the screen for a smaller image in video games.
It works like this:
First the user takes a screenshot of the item that is going to be searched for in the larger image. They do this with a tool in my application. My application takes a full screenshot/or screenshot of part of the screen(from coordinates) depending on users preference. It then checks the screen to see if the smaller image is in the larger image, and if it is it does something. The function returns a boolean and in my application it is ALWAYS turning up false even if I know it forsure exists.
I don't know if it is an issue with the image quality of my screenshot code or if it is a problem with the image recognition code or something else.
The screenshot code is in vb.net the imagerecognition is in c#.
I need someone to quickly figure out what my problem is and correct it so it does not always return false. Or if you can create an image recognition function that works then that would be okay too. Job needs to be done asap.
