Project Description:
I need a program that will run in Windows 8 and monitor as soon as it detects that metro or a metro app has focus. When it does, it should automatically switch to the desktop. The program should loop every 500 milliseconds.
I will be running this app from my app only when I need the desktop to always have focus. I will close your app when I know longer need this to occur.
Your program should write two DWORD values to the registry on startup. The key is "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Olien"
1. the process id (handle) of the application should be written to the value name "hMetroApp"
2. the main window handle should be written to the value name "hMetroWin"
3. the registry should be the same key for 32 or 64 bit Windows. In other words, I shouldn't need to specify "\WOW6432Node" in my app when I'm trying to read the two values above.
