Project Description:
The goal of this project is to address an error that sometimes occurs in Excel during data refresh. The solution should not be a band-aid/hack fix but a *robust model for moving cross-tab query data from Access to Excel while preserving formatting in Excel*.

We have a reporting solution which is an Access Database for generating data and a linked excel spreadsheet for displaying the data. Excel is great because users are familiar with it so it's nice to see results in excel. The data set brought into Excel is a cross-tab query. The number of columns returned by the query can fluctuate, sometimes this causes an error in Excel like 'cannot move columns off sheet' this happens even if there are only a few columns with data being returned to excel from access. The method of bringing data into excel was chosen by me because I am not a programmer and I leveraged Excel standard functionality to make this solution work. I suppose there are better methods to get the data into Excel and avoid the error that is the solution you need to provide. There are multiple sheets in the excel workbook each tied to it's own Query in the MS Access DB. This data transfer method should be reusable by all sheets, and for more sheets if they are added in future.

note I am using the word 'method' as a non-programmer in it's generic sense.

Please respond with
1.) a basic proposal of how you expect to resolve the problem, and why this is better than other methods. Don't worry I'm not trying to get info for free, I need to understand what you are doing to agree to pay you to implement it.
2.) If you are new to GAF, a business reference to confirm your ability to do the work.
