Image pattern recognition, repost

The project consists of finding coordinates of pattern in an image. For example, i want to find the cross image ([url removed, login to view]) in allimages (Img1,jpg, [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view]). If this could be done using matlab programming or visual basic that would be a plus but it's not required.
I need to be able to input a target image and try to find that symbol on another image. In my example, it should find it 4 times.
I also need the source code when a solution has been found for this project.
The project could be extended for edge detection technique afterwards.
To be clear, [url removed, login to view] is the ideal condition but [url removed, login to view] and the following are the real test. I need to find the cross ([url removed, login to view]) in image taken from a camera (like [url removed, login to view] to [url removed, login to view]). I need to output the center coordinates of the four cross (or all the cross that were found).
I need to be able to change the target image and also the image that looking into.
The image that i'm looking into won't be of the same size as the target image and could be rotated and a little skewed (due to camera positionning when the picture was taken).
The final objective of this project is to unskew and crop the image to the cross centers.
I need real pattern recognition on this project.
I already chose the person for this project so no need to bid on it.
I'm having a hard time uploading the images files...coming soon.

Hi I am interested in image searching . I can do this in Java very easily . 10+ yrs of experienced programmer here.
Hello, There are many techniques to do that and is even easier when you need to do it on one image. There are techniques that are doing even in the frequency domain. I would like to do it in different way .
