4597 Access to MySQL

Project Description:
Need a set of scripts/Macros setup for MS Access 2003 and in a Linux Web Server. I have 8 Tables in Access and you have to update a MySQL Database in a web server. You can generate a txt file send it using ftp server (¿?) and then update the MySQL database (maybe whit a cron job¿?).

I tried this using ODBC connection, but it's not as stable as I need. So I think that sending a file using FTP and then updating the database whit some script in the server will be better (but I'm not sure, so you can use another way). I have a Midphase account whit cpanel.

The flat text file (you have to create them based in the Access database) will need to be compared to the MySQL Database based upon specified criteria. Access tables and MySQL tables have the same structure, so another option is to delete and rewrite every row.

Everything needs to be automated. If connection is lost, there should be an option to resume. If something goes wrong in Access or MySQL side, I need to have a log whit every finish task or something similar so I can find the problem.

Detailed information of the structure will be provided to the winning programmer. VBA and server script must be open, maybe I want to check it or add more tables or ask you to do it in the future (I prefer to ask you to do it).

Project should be completed within 5 days upon receiving the project specifications. I can test or answer questions 18/19 august or 28/29 august.
