I need to extract data from a series of Excel sheets.
You must open each book (all the book stored in the folder), and read a data grid (example clumna A, B, C).
Read starting A1 B1 C1, then A2, B2, C2 and so on. Until the column A value is null.
Must look in a folder and all sub folders (multiple levels).
You should file these records in an Access table (table1).
At another table add you must write(from each Excel file) id (from table1), book name, path, date of process, last modification, and if possible, who last modified it.
Every day review the file folder and add new records only if the excel file has been modified.
I´ll give you another access table with column names and path to read.
This should be developed as a module in VBA (Access), and must be open for me to read/modify it.
I use Spanish version of Access, this can create a difference in the handling of dates and things like that .... The code must be in English.
