Project Description:
I need a Freelancer who can modify an opensource application so that it can consume ASCII files and format this into the standard Metastock data format.
I include in this project request a detail terms of reference. I urge Freelancers who intend on quoting for this project, to please read the terms of reference prior to placing a bid.
If the Freelancer decides to bid for an amount higher than the maximum amount I specify in this request for quote, I would expect a reason from the specific Freelancer, as the item to code is simple enough to achieve, by using standard CSV object code.
I will listen and entertain higher quotes, if the Freelancer proposed additional functionality, such as:-
1. Mechanism to configure CSV import, so that the user of the application is not constrained by my Terms of Reference file layout; or / and
2. Add functionality where the application's Treeview can be updated via a CSV upload; or / and
3. Enhance export function so that it can export the selected TreeView stocks within a selected date range.
Other than the above changes, the bidder will need to convince me before I exceed my project budget.
Please not that the final deliverable will be the complete source code, that I will compile using Visual Studio 2010. So please remember this when placing the bid, it will be of no use using a different IDE and then I need to make adjustments to be able to compile the code.
I will also not make any payments, unless I had tested the application, as per the attached Terms of Reference.
